Best Gluten-Free Retreat In Southern California

Best Gluten-Free Retreat in Southern California

Gluten intolerance is one of those conditions that can affect every aspect of a person’s life. If you have a gluten intolerance or celiac disease, you research everything you eat and ask questions to make sure that your food doesn’t have cross-contamination. You can only hope that waiters and chefs are knowledgeable or that they will answer each question honestly before you eat.

For those who have Celiac Disease or severe gluten intolerance, touching something that has gluten on it causes problems. If you want to plan a retreat, there is a possibility that one or more of your guests will have a gluten intolerance or Celiac Disease. It can be challenging, especially when you’re organizing the events, or you can find a location that can accommodate your needs.

At Pali Retreat, we are proud to offer the option for a gluten-free menu. We are also known as the best gluten-free retreat in Southern California.

What Makes Pali the Best Gluten-Free Retreat in Southern California?

While there are other gluten-free retreats in Southern California, we cater to the needs of the gluten intolerant and those with celiac disease.

We Cater to You

We strive to accommodate each guest by using separate equipment and or buffet lines for meals. Our chef and the kitchen team work diligently to cater to your dietary needs. Pali Retreat commonly has delicious gluten-free food on hand.

Every utensil, plate, pot, and pan is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between use to prevent cross-contamination.  We operate our own in-house bakery and can create gluten-free foods as well as standard baked goods. Our chef creates our menu from scratch, every day.

If there is ever a question about ingredients or dietary sensitivities, the chef is available for consultation.

We Can Accomodate Many Dietary Needs

As dangerous as gluten intolerance and celiac disease are, they’re not the only diet restriction that we accommodate. At Pali, we feel that our guests should have the right to choose what goes into their bodies. Visitors should have the opportunity to enjoy delicious food, without worrying about their health.

The kitchen staff can accommodate almost any dietary restrictions. We do need advance notice, but no one ever goes hungry or feels deprived at Pali Retreat.

Not only can we cater to gluten-free diets, but we also can offer halal, vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free, organic, nut-free, and many more. Because the options are not always on our menu, you must let us know about life-threatening allergies or intolerances before your stay.

An Enjoyable Dining Experience

Camps, retreats, and resorts have a reputation for making less-than-stellar food. Most facilities view food the same way that others look at a roll of toilet paper. They focus on quantity, rather than quality, taste or enjoyment.

Even if visitors eat something that tastes delicious, many people who have special dietary needs are unimpressed. The kitchen staff believes that rules and limitations around gluten, should not mean a lack of flavor.

We believe in making food that is not only safe but delicious. Our chef creates delicious menus of meals that offer variety and innovation. We make all of our meals on-site in our new, state of the art dining hall. Our chef takes pride in making food from scratch, so our guests can find a meal that is not only safe but delicious.

A Huge List of Fun Activities

While eating is essential, it’s not even close to a critical feature that visitors look for in their retreat center. Every great getaway has a theme that revolves around an individual purpose so that they can meet a specific goal. Your goal should guide your guests through several different activities, and find ways to help them reach an individual goal.

As a retreat planner, attempting to plan specific activities by yourself, is quite daunting and costly. But at Pali, our team is excited to offer a variety of actives that are fun and can complement one of our many programs. We have an extensive list that includes yoga, paintball, zip-lining, Zumba, and so many more.

We include all of our equipment at no extra cost. Our highly-trained staff lead all activities and make sure that every one of our guests is following the essential safety rules. Additionally, we also provide group transportation to nearby locations to enjoy watersports in the summer, and snowboarding, skiing, and sledding in the winter.

We Have the Best in Modern Safety and Natural Beauty

To get the most out of your retreat experience, you must leave your visit feeling refreshed and enlightened. Your group came to the retreat, to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, so you want to find something that lets them reconnect with nature.

But if you head too far into the wilderness, it’s possible that your food intolerances and allergies can cause health and safety risks.

At Pali Retreat,  we create a balance between our natural surroundings and modern safety. We have an on-site registered nurse 24-hours-per-day, and emergency response teams are within 4 minutes of us. The hospital is just seven miles away if an emergency arises.

Mobile phones are permitted during a retreat, but wi-fi is provided in private cabins, meeting sites and other public areas. All Pali Retreat staff members carry walkie-talkies, as well.
