How do I request a tour of Pali Retreat?

Please call in advance to schedule a visit at 909-939-0855. We are open year-round and on weekends. Our friendly staff members would love to give you and a friend a free personal tour.

Does Pali Retreat have wireless Internet access?

Yes, complimentary wi-fi is provided throughout the entire facility.

Do you offer audiovisual equipment?

Pali Retreat offers each group a projector and a screen as part of the retreat package. Each of our meeting spaces has speakers and microphones. Please inform us of any audiovisual needs at least two weeks in advance of your group arrival.

Are pets/animals permitted?

We cannot accommodate animals other than trained service animals on leash or crated at all times.

Do you allow smoking/vaping?

We are a non-smoking, tobacco-free facility. Pali Retreat is located in the San Bernardino National Forest, in a high fire danger area. We regret that guests found smoking must be asked to vacate the facility without refund.

Who do I contact for emergencies?

For all medical emergencies, please immediately dial 911 to ensure that EMS can respond without delay.

For all non-life threatening situations, please contact our onsite retreat hosts who are on-duty from 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM for the entire duration of your stay. Group leaders may contact our retreat hosts at 442-226-1664 to address any concerns while on-site.

What is the weather like at Pali Retreat?

We are located in Running Springs at an elevation of over 6,000 feet. We experience all four seasons, from warm summers to snowy winters.

Accommodations Information

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is after 4:00 PM and checkout is 11:00 AM. For group’s looking to arrive early or depart later from their meeting space may do so for an additional fee of $250 / hour with prior authorization from the event services department.

Do you provide linens/bedding?

No, guests staying in cabins should bring their own sleeping bags or linens for a twin sized bed.

Our private rooms do include bedding sets consisting of a blanket, fitted sheet, flat sheet, pillow, pillow case, and towel.

*Souvenir bedding packages are available for an additional fee with advance notice of at least 30 days prior to check-in.

 

Food and Beverage Information

Can we bring/cook our own food?

For safety reasons, we do not permit guests cooking at Pali Retreat, with the exception of Pali-run culinary classes. Pali Retreat is in a high fire danger area. You are permitted to bring drinks and snacks into your own meeting room only. No food is permitted in sleeping cabins and private rooms to avoid attracting animals.

We ask that you do not bring peanuts onto the property to protect people with life-threatening allergies.

Can you accommodate special dietary needs?

Pali Retreat is a nut–conscious facility and can accommodate vegetarian, vegan, halal, and kosher-style menu options upon request. However, we cannot guarantee that Pali Retreat is 100% nut free. Visitors to Pali do, on occasion, bring nuts to the dining area, cabins and other common areas.

We ask that you inform us of your dietary requirements when booking or when final numbers are confirmed. We are happy to discuss any unique requirements for religious or dietary needs you may have – just give us a call.

May I serve alcohol at my events?

Pali Retreat is full licensed for on-site alcohol service and offers several options for groups to pick from.

 

Pricing/Booking

How much does a retreat cost?

Pricing is seasonal. Typical costs are per cabin (12 or 28 beds), per meeting space. Meals and guided activities are per person. Please call our office for a custom proposal. (909) 939-0855

How far in advance should I schedule to reserve and guarantee my dates?

Our staff can book your retreat as far ahead as one year in advance, or as soon as next week. Your dates are not guaranteed until we have received your signed contract and initial deposit. We book on a first come, first served basis. Advance planning is always appreciated and we cannot always honor requests for short-notice events.

How many people can Pali retreat accommodate?

Our minimum number of retreat guests is 20, and our maximum is 750. Exclusive use of our site begins at 550 guests.

How do I schedule an event or retreat?

You may schedule your event by calling us at 909-939-0855. Or, you may fill out our Contact Us form to make your initial inquiries. A member of our staff will contact you promptly with further information and responses.

What is your cancellation policy?

Any notification of cancellation or reductions must be submitted in writing to the Director of Conference Sales. If the notice of cancellation is received more than 120 days prior to the event date, the party will only forfeit the non-refundable booking deposit. Cancellations received between 119 and 30 days prior to the event date will forfeit the non-refundable deposit as well as the any subsequent payments paid up to that point. For any cancellations received within 30 days of the event date, the party will be responsible for the entire reserved amount listed on the contract.

How long does my retreat need to be?

Most of our groups spend a full weekend with us, from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning. However, we are as flexible as your group needs us to be – with both daily and single night options available.

How much of a deposit is required to reserve my dates?

When booking more than 120 days in advance we require a $1,500 deposit. When booking within 120 days, we require a 50% deposit.

When must I make payment of the balance due and give you our final number of guests?

Payment in full must be submitted at least 30 days before your event. We must receive your final number of guests at this time.

Do you accept credit cards as a form of payment?

Yes, we accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

 

Location / Transportation

Do you offer parking for guests arriving by private automobile?

We have limited free parking available for all guests and do suggest carpooling if at all possible.

We regret that we cannot accommodate large RVs or trailers.

How close are you to a major airport?

Pali Retreat is located about 1 hour from Ontario International Airport (ONT) and 2 hours from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

Do you have room for buses?

Pali Retreat has room for buses to drive in and turn around to drop off guests. Caltrans and CHP will not allow buses longer than 40 feet on Highway 18. Please note, this does not apply to Highway 330.
