Pali Retreat’s innovative and engaging Team-Building activities offer education to groups of all ages and abilities. Pali Retreat’s Team Building Experience combines fun and positive group tasks for corporate gatherings, youth groups, sports teams, and church congregations. Tailored to meet the unique needs of your group, exercises empower all participants with constructive and positive memories to last long after the session ends. With a trained facilitator, each group has opportunities to identify strengths and work on areas of improvement. They conclude with debriefing sessions to analyze group actions and promote constructive techniques in real-life settings.

For the past two and a half decades, Alan Lowis, has transformed & inspired hundreds of teams at Fortune 500 companies. He has been called upon to train many top professional & collegiate sports teams to improve performance and teamwork. He has been sought out by companies like GM the help them through their massive organizational restructuring. He was hand picked by the General of the Pacific Command of the U.S. Army to train their top leaders before mission critical deployment. Alan is one of the most sought after leadership & team development facilitators in the country. He has earned Degrees in Economics and Business from UCLA, holds a Masters Degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education & Psychology and has earned a Juris Doctorate from The Law School at the University of Chicago.  But more than all of that, he is excited about life! His energy is over-the-top! He will move and inspire you to be the best version of yourself. He will teach you skills, tools and insights that will help you solve your biggest problems, overcome your greatest obstacles and help you make your dreams into reality.

HIGH ROPES

Five state-of-the-art high ropes courses are available for Pali guests to conquer. The largest course at Pali, is an excellent spot for a larger group to spend an active morning or afternoon. It offers a variety of elements, each with a different level of challenge, to accommodate anyone from “ground-dweller” to “adrenaline junkie.” Our belay-certified staff instructors allow participants to safely challenge themselves on a variety of vertical elements.

Age, height, and/or weight requirements:

Participants must be at least 6 years old and able to follow instructions well. Must be able to fit securely into the harness. Participants must weigh less than 250 lbs. for leaping elements and be under 300 lbs for all other high-ropes elements.

GROUND & "LOW ROPES"

A fusion between high-ropes elements and team building initiatives, Pali’s low ropes course offers an advanced setting to challenge even the most cohesive of teams. Tucked away, our course offers solitude and beauty as the elements extend within the surrounding trees. Guided by a trained facilitator, groups looking for a more challenging adaptation of team building will be given the opportunity to put their team skills to the test. The low ropes elements are each uniquely designed to test different parts of teamwork, and each requires different paths of critical thought in order to solve. Your facilitator will structure a sequence based on specific group objectives.

Participants must be at least 6 years old and able to follow instructions well.

ROCK CLIMBING WALL

Don a safety harness and conquer 35 feet of vertical ascension on our rock wall with challenging hand-holds. Great for both children and adults, this activity combines physical agility with strategy and problem-solving skills. Participants get to experience the awesome feeling of victory when they make it to the top!

Climbers must be able to fit securely into the safety harness.
