Church Retreat

One of the best decision of my life have been to attend a church retreat with my family. We are not a very religious family, but we do attend church as often as possible. Recently I felt that my family were not as close to each others as I like. This is the reason why I decided to take my family on a church retreat. The retreat gave us an opportunity to reconnect with each other. The church retreat also gave us a chance to get away from our daily routine. There were no distraction such as work or bills. It was just me and my family. Everything about the church retreat was above expectation. The camp ground was clean and nice looking. The staff were extremely helpful, but more importantly they were not intrusive. This was a very important aspect of the church retreat. I did not want to be pampered. The purpose of the church retreat was for me and my family to bond, it was not a vocation. I believe that my family have grown closer since the retreat.
